Share My Swag

I thought you would like to see the tiny beautiful things a florist gets to bring home at the end of the day.

A dozen eggs from a local grower. A dozen tulips hot off the presses.

And a beautiful little succulent container potted up by my co worker Betty.

How much did I love it?

I paid for it, that's how much.

Well I paid for the eggs too, $3.50, but the tulips were a grab and go.
Kind of a floral equivalent of a staff meal.

And just when I though I had gotten everything good out of the bag, I turned around and spied this treasure.

Value? Priceless.

  9. Both my cats love to jump into our grocery bags. The funniest thing was when I was at the market the clerk screamed after seeing a mouse in the bag....our cats left if in there and she thought it was real...just a furry toy. Never a dull moment when you have cats.

  10. Ooh, loving that little succulent pot - it's very alive and sexy, where sometimes succulents and cacti are rather dull and static. Have a good week. Abby x

  14. Your little succulent bowl looks so much like a shallow Caribbean reef that it took my breath away! A lovely little something to enjoy during this lousy part of the winter.

  16. Has no one yet said (seriously?!?):
"Don't let the cat out of the bag"?
Guess I just did. A sweet, everyday vignette, for which we all thank you.
